As part of our effort to be the best bank in Northwest Arkansas, we’ve taken steps to better serve the entire region, including Bentonville and every community within Benton County. As of July 2018, Legacy National Bank and the Bank of Gravett are both owned by our holding company, Legacy Bancshares Inc. This acquisition allows us to bring personalized community bank service to more customers in our part of Arkansas.
The Bank of Gravett has a long history of outstanding service. One of the oldest financial institutions in the state, the bank was founded in 1898, and includes locations in Hiwassee and Centerton in addition to two branches in Gravette. The Bank of Gravett’s new president, Brian Glenn, plans to honor the bank’s history and legacy while bringing a renewed energy to the bank.
“I’m looking forward to meeting our neighbors, customers and potential customers and telling our story. Bank of Gravett is now a willing lender, and we’re looking for opportunities to make quality loans,” said Glenn. “We want to represent ourselves well every day to our customers here in Gravette and the surrounding area and bring a faster pace and sense of urgency to our work.”
Bank of Gravett customers can expect the same financial products available to Legacy Bank customers including home equity loans, competitive mortgage rates, interest checking and more. They’ll also be able to enjoy the latest banking technology features like mobile banking, debit cards and – coming soon – access to worldwide ATM withdrawals with no ATM fees. Members of the local agriculture community will be happy to know Glenn’s goal is to become Gravette’s leading ag-lending bank.
“With our holding company’s ownership ties to the local poultry industries, we’ve built strong relationships with all of the integrators in Northwest Arkansas. We want to leverage those relationships to grow our ag-lending portfolio,” said Glenn.
Long-time customers can expect the same relationships they’ve developed over the years with the same solid core of Bank of Gravett employees. A lot has changed, but the shared values of the Bank of Gravett and Legacy remain the same. Everyone in the community can expect a welcoming banking facility with a staff willing to build a banking relationship with you.
Stop by any of the Bank of Gravett locations and discover the difference yourself. And remember, you’re always welcome to stop by any Legacy banking facility to say hello and discuss how we can better serve your banking needs.
